As an entity, SpendQube has just launched but the development of SpendQube has been in progress for over 4 years, as an offshoot of Procurato. Founded in 2014, Procurato started as a consulting firm to help Chief Procurement Officers and their teams do one thing really well.
Analyze their company’s spend so they can answer core questions about how the business is doing and where their money is going. As former procurement officers ourselves, we know firsthand how challenging it can be to answer that seemingly simple question. It’s been our mission since 2014 to simplify this.
A decade of consulting has shown us that there are incredible opportunities to use software to enhance the analysis process and in holding to our mission we are turning that software over to our customers, to make their jobs even easier.
We know this because before we built SpendQube, we tried to source the right software for the job from products already on the market. What we found disappointed us. The options were either too expensive to justify or too simple to meet our client’s needs.
